At IE Academy, we believe that developing emotional intelligence is more than just a differentiator. It’s a necessity for leadership, teamwork, and balanced living in today’s world.
We are a space for continuous learning created to transform knowledge into practice, theory into action, and emotional skills into concrete results. Our courses are built upon years of experience in corporate training, research, and real-world experiences. We provide you with tools applicable to everyday life, whether in leadership, team management, or personal development.
IE Academy is led by professors with extensive academic backgrounds, solid classroom experience, and active participation in research in the field. This combination ensures that each course has a scientific foundation coupled with practical application in the corporate world.

Alessandra Gonzaga, Ph.D.
Alessandra holds a doctorate in human resource management and is the author of a thesis on career transitions. With a master’s degree in clinical psychology, she specializes in the assessment, teaching, and development of emotional intelligence in organizations. Working as a consultant, instructor, and mentor in this area, her skills encompass human emotions, organizational behavior, communication, and evolutionary psychology.
Marcelo Carmo, Msc. & M.A.
Marcelo do Carmo holds master’s degrees in Economics and Organizational Psychology, with a background in Engineering from USP (University of São Paulo). A specialist in strategic planning, quantitative methods, and quality, he has worked as an organizational consultant and facilitator since 1997, with solid experience in management, executive education, and organizational excellence. He is also a certified coach and director of Conexão IE.
